Two Bridges Historic District

In 2003, Two Bridges Neighborhood Council successfully sponsored the creation of the Two Bridges Historic District and its inclusion in the National Register of Historic Places. The District is roughly bounded by East Broadway, Market Street, Cherry Street, Catherine Street, Madison Street, and St. James Place.

By establishing the Two Bridges Historic District, we have been able to highlight the area's history as a home for generations of immigrants, and to help protect and conserve the neighborhood's characteristic architecture.

Two Bridges is now leading a campaign to create a new Chinatown-Little Italy Historic District.
