Chinatown–Little Italy Historic District

Two Bridges Neighborhood Council has nominated the Chinatown–Little Italy area as a new Historic District and is leading a campaign to have the area listed in the National Register of Historic Places.

A Chinatown–Little Italy Historic District will boost tourism in these neighborhoods, provide access to federal conservation funds, and encourage preservation of the area's landmarks by documenting their historic significance.

In 2003, we led the successful drive to create the Two Bridges Historic District, which stretches from East Broadway to Cherry Street between the Brooklyn and Manhattan Bridges.
