Exciting Staff Updates!
Two Bridges is pleased to announce the appointment of Elisa Rae Espiritu as our new Director of Development. Elisa oversees our fundraising initiatives and events, all of which aim to highlight the rich residential, commercial, and cultural life of Manhattan’s Lower East Side. Elisa comes to Two Bridges with extensive experience in development and outreach in the nonprofit sector; she also serves on the Board of Chinatown Youth Initiatives. Elisa worked with Two Bridges to plan Marco Polo Festival 2010, and we are thrilled to have her working with us again. Welcome (back), Elisa!
By unanimous vote at its July meeting, Two Bridges’ Program Manager Wilson Soo was elected to co-chair the Chinatown Working Group, a community advocacy and planning coalition. Wilson will help guide the CWG at a critical moment in its existence, as it commissions a formal planning study of its Chinatown study area. Congratulations Wilson!
Associate Director Kerri Culhane was appointed to the Board of the Historic Districts Council at its June meeting. Kerri serves as the co-chair of the HDC Designation Committee to help identify and promote the preservation of New York City’s built heritage.
